Cook Time: 15 Min


  • 2 salmon fillets (skin removed), cubed


  • 1 tbsp white miso

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp ground ginger

Serving Suggestions:

  • Sushi Rice

  • Shaved carrot

  • Sliced cucumber

  • Edamame

  • Sliced avocado

  • Sauteed spinach with garlic

Garnish (optional):

  • chopped green onion/scallion

  • toasted white and black sesame seeds


  • Cook sushi rice as per packet instructions.

  • In a large bowl, mix the marinade ingredients and add the cubed salmon. Cover and keep in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours or overnight.

  • Heat some olive oil in a pan to medium heat and add the salmon and all the marinade. Cook until the salmon is thoroughly done.

  • In another pan, saute some spinach in olive oil until wilted. Add in some powdered garlic for extra flavour.

  • Add the sushi rice to your serving bowl, followed by the wilted spinach and miso salmon.

  • Add any additional toppings as desired.

  • Garnish with chopped scallion and toasted sesame seeds.
